PAYMENTS

The payment methods we accept

Money reaches TunaKua through the services Tanzanian businesses already use every day. Choose mobile money, a bank transfer or a card, and receive payouts on the same rails.

Mobile money

Used for investor deposits, borrower repayments and payouts to suppliers and investors. Funds land on the number registered on your profile.

How money moves

From deposit to payout

A hand paying with a phone and bank card into the platform

Deposit

Investors and borrowers move money in from mobile money, a bank transfer or a card. The deposit is matched to your account by reference.

A locked vault holding funded capital in escrow

Held in escrow

Funded capital sits in segregated escrow. Nothing is released until the project reaches a verified milestone.

Money going directly to a supplier warehouse and delivery truck

Paid to the supplier

Disbursement goes directly to the supplier's bank account or mobile money wallet, never through the borrower's own hands.

A settled payout splitting into investor, platform and borrower shares

Settled and paid out

When the corporate buyer pays the invoice, the ledger distributes principal, investor return, platform fee, management fee and the borrower's profit.

Good to know

Before you send money

  • All balances, deposits and payouts are held and settled in Tanzanian Shillings (TZS).
  • Payouts go to the bank account or mobile money number saved on your profile. Keep it current to avoid delays.
  • Every movement is recorded against a unique reference you can see in your wallet history and export to CSV.
  • TunaKua never asks for your PIN or full card details over the phone, email or WhatsApp.
